Bury Me Standing formed in September of 2000 in Baltimore, MD under the name Supergiant MD.  SGMD went though some lineup changes, and added another guitar player and ambition to take their goals seriously.   The name change was the final push forward.

With touring and some pretty big shows already under their belt, there seems to be no end in site for this ever musical force.  BMS now consists of Bryan Fisher on bass and vocals, Joe Teague on guitar and vocals, John Sollon on drums, and Ben Liebch on guitar.  Their catchy hooks, melodic harmonies and energetic stage show make this band something not to miss.

The BMS resume is also very impressive.  First off, with one of the biggest radio stations on the east coast backing them, they were added to the lineup of the 2001 WHFSkimo Snowjob, opening for Run DMC and Crazytown to over 5,000 people.  The next stops were the 2000 and 2001 Warped Tours.  Thanks to Ernie Ball, BMS had the opportunity to play the EB stage both years.  With the help of some great fans, a great local band was born.  Next step, playing regionally which the band is cu
rrently doing. BMS has already had the oppurtunity to open for acts such as, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Rufio, The Reunion Show, Near Miss, Bigwig, Over It, Senses Fail, Finch, Teen Idols, Glasseater, Showoff, Allister, Fallout Boy, The Beautiful Mistake, Hidden in Plain View, The Goodwill, Divit, and show no signs of stopping.
